What to Expect

Over two days, participants will:

  • Study one book of the Bible together in depth
  • Receive instruction in sound interpretation and sermon preparation
  • Work in small groups to present and review passages and sharpen one another
  • Hear the Word proclaimed and see expository preaching modeled

Each workshop highlights a different biblical genre (narrative, poetry, epistle, etc.) to help participants grow in handling the diversity of Scripture’s literature.

You will leave with:

  • A working grasp of the book studied
  • Practical tools for ongoing study and sermon/lesson preparation
  • Encouragement from fellowship with like-minded brothers

Who Should Attend

These workshops are for:

  • Pastors seeking to grow as expositors
  • Elders, Sunday School teachers, and ministry leaders who teach Scripture
  • Men beginning to teach and wanting to develop sound habits
  • Men discipling their families through regular study of the Word

Whether you’re seasoned or just getting started, the workshop is designed to help you make progress.

How to Prepare

Ahead of the workshop, each participant will be assigned two passages to study. Using the G3 Exegetical Worksheet, you will complete your work and be ready to discuss your findings in your small group.

A short instructional video will be provided to guide you through the worksheet, ensuring everyone arrives prepared to benefit fully from the collaborative study.
